Comfy...

One of many trips to the mound this day...

No bulls in the pen this day...

His father pitched for the first ECSU
National Champions

Good coaching record - cantankerous too.

Lonely ball...

Southern Maine, April 24. Nice stadium, nice people, nice win.

Very high point, two very low points, and one more doubleheader to go.

Knocking off the number one NCAA Division III team in the nation yesterday to surrendering 32 runs in the front end of a double header today created a serious roller coaster ride. Details will follow tomorrow morning along with many photos from all three games.

The UMass-Boston Beacons play a double header starting at 2 at The Yet (Yetten Field) in Waltham on Sunday. At stake is the positioning in final Little East Conference standings which determine the parings and home field advantage in the playoffs.

Big weekend of games coming up.....

Sometimes when there are big games coming up we look past today's game. That ocured at Breandeis today as UMass-Boston lost to the home team 9-2.

Brandeis is a difficult place to take photos. In most college venues I can get close to the field and/or shoot through the chainlink and get clear shots of the action.

My camera has auto focus. Because of that my camera kept focussing on the link and most of the good photos had the players and field blurred. What follows is what I could get.

Hopefully the filed at Southern Maine will be more photographer friendly.

The Beacons have a big one tomorrow at 3 in maine and then a pair against Eastern Connecticut at The Yet in Walthat Saturday starting at Noon. They close the Little East Regular season Sunday with a pair against Plymouth State at The yet with another Noon start.

A nice place to view a game.
Photographing it is another story.

Watching your special guy with your special pal.
